It’s Valentine’s Day and what better way to say “I Love You!” than with sex, candy, and some Victoria Secret’s lingerie? I am deviating from my original page’s theme in celebration of this sexually themed holiday. I was going to write a block post about the origins of Valentine’s Day starting with St. Valentine………..BORING!!!! We all know the roots of most traditional holidays began with some Pagan holiday or festival. So, Valentine’s Day probably originated from some fertility fest found in one of these ancient cultures. Sex fests were a pretty common theme in ancient history as the people recognized early on in these ancient cultures that without sex there could be no conception, and without conception there could be no offspring, and with no offspring there could be no continued existence. Fertility festivals vary in their different ancient cultural themes and although ritually different displays mark each unique culture‘s celebration, the message still pretty much stayed the same. Thank you god for my reproductive success! Sometimes an offering or gift was given to the fertility god in the temple or a generous donation made to the temple priest, who by the way has now been replaced by your local retail dealer or local Hallmark store. Anybody make a donation yet? Anyone born November 14th?
What better way to show your gratitude for the very organs that gave you life and helped to sustain that life? What better way to give thanks for our reproductive capabilities than to shine some tender love and care on your partner‘s genitalia? What better way to give thanks to the god who has granted us the ability to experience sexual ecstasy in this ultimate act of close intimate bonding? That reminds me, don’t forget to send a card to your parents too, they were your former gods who breathed the very life you own into you!
In life, is there anything better than that which is rooted in this life sustaining act? Anything more gratifying? Anything more pleasuring? So grab your guy or grab your girl, pull the shades, and dim the light. Enjoy this day of celebration with sex and romance and give thanks to your precious origins. A spark of creative culinary inspirations! Boob Cakes! Nothing says I love you quite like being nurtured by the breast (or penis). After all, the life-sustaining act of breast feeding set in motion our very sexual energies and drives, or at least according to Freud it did. May all of you enjoy a very Happy Valentine’s Day with your spouse or significant other!
So I don’t live in the nicest town in New Jersey. In fact, Trenton has seen its fair share of corruption and criminal activity and to top it all off, last night was one of the spookiest nights of the new year. The Northeast is experiencing a Nor’easter and it’s been rainy, windy, cold, and unpleasant for the last 48 hours. I guess I shouldn’t have been too surprised to have been awaken by a rapping on my back door at 3:00 am in the morning, except for the fact that no one in their right mind comes knocking at that hour. A gentle rapping signaling “Please let me in” increased in crescendo to a full blown pounding and rattling with intermittent bursts of shoving on our securely locked back door. Who in god’s name could it be at this hour? A gentleman dressed in black that’s who, who also declared to our neighbors in a narcissistic rage, “She said she LOVED me and now she won’t open the door for me!” and also declared “Mom I’m at the back door! Let me in! I’m at the wrong house!?” Despite this last declaration he still continued to shove the door open. Why is it when you are waiting for the police to arrive at your most desperate hour every moment seems like an eternity? By the time the police did arrive, which wasn’t too long afterward, the mysterious man in black had vanished and further searching yielded no results.
With my interest in human aggression this night might be considered serendipitous, however, the completely frightening, helpless terror one feels when one is confronted on the side of the unexpected and unknown is indescribable. Human aggression has demonstrated that the way people behave is a reflection of what has happened to them, not a reflection of their innate drives. Peoples forced into a consignment they are not prepared to deal with can have catastrophic results. Individuals who were once generous, compassionate, and honest, once deprived of their traditional way of life, the only life they knew how to live, can turn indifferent and even hostile to others and to outsiders. Environmental changes can force individuals and people to scramble for themselves in order to survive.
When whole groups are forced into a situation they can not handle, the response has been to split wide open, to neglect their children, to abandon their earlier habits of compassion and cooperation. And as a result they will soon be extinct. Indifference is not conducive to human survival. It’s very likely that this has happened before in our human history when groups were not able to handle their misfortunes together, perhaps they died separately and the group vanished. If that has happened, and there is no reason to suppose it has not, then those of us on earth at this moment are the descendants of people who had first of all a certain amount of good luck in the condition of their lives: not too much famine, not too much natural catastrophe, not too much sudden climate change, and at least so far not irremediably too stupid and blind a government. And we are also the descendants of those people who, given that certain amount of luck, helped each other through whatever did come to them.
There could be no claim made that humans beings are innately generous and helpful, any more than they are innately hostile and violent. There are within all of us potentialities to be helpful, just as there are within us potentialities to be violent. But the point is that cooperative drives have helped play a vastly more important role, during the five million or so years of evolution from ape to human being, than have our potentialities for violence. Let’s pray we’re all a little smarter than we look.
“O, beware, my lord, of jealousy; It is the green-ey’d monster, which doth mock the meat it feeds on.” ~Iago, Act III, Scene III, Othello
One of the ways psychoanalysis prepare for a professional career in the field of medicine is in studying the ancient religious myths of other cultures and, in particular, ancient play tragedies. A mental illness which has acquired its name from one of these play tragedies is Othello Syndrome. Shakespeare’s Othello begins with Roderigo‘s pursuit for a woman and it turns into a full blown conspiracy when the antagonist, Iago, realizes he can bring down his most despised enemies, Othello the Moor of Venice. Roderigo pays Iago to help him in his pursuit of winning the heart of Desdemona. After Iago discovers that Desdemona has just married Othello, he devises a scheme. Since Othello has just passed Iago over for a promotion, Iago becomes keenly aware he can exact vengeance on Othello through manipulation. This sets the stage for a criminal conspiracy that unfolds with a fatal outcomes. What the heart wouldn’t do when it desperately seeks possession of ‘other‘? Iago calls on Brabantio, Desdemona’s father, in attempt to tarnish Othello’s reputation by accusing Othello of falsely stealing and blemishing Brabantio’s daughter and her honor. Othello is arrested and accused, but finding no fault in Othello marriage to Desdemona, is set free. Iago then plants seeds of mistrust in Othello’s mind by falsely accusing her of adultery. After Othello’s mind has been adequately poisoned with the lies, Othello, in an act of angry passion, kills the lovely Desdemona. It is a play based in hate, deceptions, and manipulations which fosters the criminal act of murder.
Othello Syndrome is a type of delusional jealousy, marked by suspecting a faithful partner of infidelity, with accompanying jealousy, attempts at monitoring and control, and sometimes violence. It is a condition that is frequently associated with paranoia. Since one of the ways in which individuals can lose there conscious state of awareness (ie their conscience) is through acute illness, specifically through the use of drugs as seen in addiction, it would seem more likely that certain individuals would be more susceptible to developing it. “In these individuals, it would seems more likely that Othello Syndrome would effect them, since individuals who suffer from addiction are considered to be of the schizoid disposition and suffer delinquency. It would only logically follow that one would see these types of behaviors in people suffering mental illness of this kind.” However, it should also be astutely noted that psychopaths will pray on less intelligent individuals because they are masterful at sizing-up their weaker opponents and are masters of social manipulation and social intercourse games. It should also be noted that the act of “falling in love” and being “in love” can be considered a form of mental illness, or mental weakness, as we tend not to see people as they truly are, that is, in the absence light of rational reason. Thus the act of being “in love” can be defined as a syndrome within itself, technically speaking.
It would seem that a syndrome and a disease are actually the same thing, but in fact they are different. The basic difference between the two terms relates to the symptoms that they produce. A disease can be defined as a health condition that has a clearly defined reason behind it and is determined by a definite diagnostic procedure or tool and has a prescribed treatment that accompanies it. A syndrome, however, may produce a number of symptoms without an identifiable cause and there is no known diagnostic procedure or tool to help diagnosis it. It’s onset may be sudden and intermittent throughout one’s life. A syndrome may suggest the possibility of an underlying disease or even the person’s chances of developing a certain disease, but does not necessarily define the disease. In the case of Othello‘s Syndrome, its roots may be grounded in the mental illness of addiction or it may be the side affect of taking certain types of medications such as dopamine. Individuals with Parkinson’s disease who are given dopamine agonists have been known to develop Othello Syndrome as a side-effect of the drug.
In the stage play Othello, Othello suffers no apparent mental illness. It was only through the deceptive lies and manipulations of Iago that he develops this “syndrome.” Othello otherwise presents himself as a strong willed, determined, and successful Moor. A person with an outstanding and untarnished reputation. It wouldn’t seem likely that a man of his character would be so easily duped, except that in matters of love, one’s judgments can become clouded and the unfaithful heart of another can turn a person’s love into hatred. It can therefore be concluded that love can be a mental illness, one that gets in the way of prudent decision making with its absence of logic and reason.
“Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned.” ~William Congreve
Is “love merely a madness” as Shakespeare penned? It most definitely can be considered one if you take in to account that when one falls in love the brain releases endorphins and dopamine levels rise. Shakespeare was astute observer to human behavior as were many historical playwrights. And why wouldn’t they be? They were, after all, all humans beings who possessed the human condition. Individuals who fell in love and hated. Individuals who perceived the delusional perceptions of others. Individuals who sought insatiable after wealth and became greedy. Individuals whose own selfishness created their downfall and individuals whose own human failings made it possible for them to dust themselves off and start all over again. All these plays hold the answers and reasons for why life for man throughout out our historical archive has never changed. It explains why even after millenniums, our way of life has still remained the same. Bob Dylan, in his acceptance speech just this month wrote for the 2016 Noble Prize in Literature and noted, “Some things never change, even in 400 years.”
Parents interested in teaching their children core values of leadership will expect their children to take responsibility, to admit when they’re wrong, and take care of other people, thus manners and politeness are emphasized. Families interested in incorporating core values of leadership may find themselves having dinner together as a family every night. Cross-talking is never permitted and parents and children, together, explored the issues of the day until both were satisfied. If you came from a family such as this it is very likely you became a good listener early on in your development.
Courageous adults will spend their time on momentarily lost wayward kids, will find themselves helping out their neighbors in crisis, sharing meals with elderly shut-in neighbors, standing up for workers who have been mistreated, and imprinting courageous living, respectful relating, and principled labor into the deep character development circuits of the youth around them.
When courageous adults see unethical practices in their own career path, they don’t look the other way, cross the street, or suddenly check the time to leave. They intuitively discern right from wrong, boldly act for what is right regardless of the risk to himself, and move forward despite fear and trepidation to ensure that there would be no repetition of the injustice against someone else. These individuals make admirable adults, substantial executives consistent with ancient wisdom and a philosophical belief belief system.
“Ethics is following an ethical code. So if the code’s weak in content or enforcement, a so-called ethical person could be useless in a moral crisis. I think what we really want is the courage to act rightly.” It is for this reason that spiritual development whether it be found within the religious dogma of the more popular religions or if it is simply found in the hallways and avenues of philosophical study, helps human beings develop and adhere to an ethical code of conduct.
DIFFERENTIATING BETWEEN “A GOOD” PERSON AND “A PERSON OF CHARACTER”
“A good person is just that – someone who keeps his or her nose clean. But I see it – the person of character is a completely different cat; this person does the right thing not only for himself or herself but for others. For the principle of the thing.” How much it means to the developing child’s psychological development to have been reared with such principles. Integrity!
THE INTEGRITY GLOSSARY
GOOD PERSON PERSON OF CHARACTER Honesty (truth) Integrity (acting for what is right) Honor (no lying, cheating, Courage (stopping wrongs)
or stealing) Ethics (following ethical rules) Character (sustained integrity
“An international research study found that across world cultures, all people admire the same leadership qualities of respect and trustworthiness.” Executives who inspire in other their best selves every day. They have to model how to relate according to principle instead of by mood or fear or pressure. They do this when they make performance not about themselves but about high values day after day.
Leading then becomes about others and not about themselves. To lead effectively, these individuals are capable of putting aside personal opinions and judgments and are capable and willing to work with everyone whatever level their colleagues may be at. In short, their effective stewardship depends on one thing: the leader’s courage. “The leader’s courage under stress will emerge in his or her actions, words, decisions, and psychical presence.”
Authentic and effective leadership education starts with an honest and open self-assessment. Assessment tests reveal “strengths and challenges and highlights the internal changes required to improve the capacity to act for what is right and to correct wrongs. Assessing our courage and our character is more important than gauging our economic, physical, and emotional health. Why? Because all other indicators are dependent on our “first human quality.” Winston Churchill believed the first human quality was Courage and said, “Courage is rightly esteemed the first of human qualities……..because it is the quality which guarantees all others.”
We once required high-integrity families, but that is no longer available to everyone. So now it is up to the individual, everyone, to undertake a self-assessment and practice. There’s that word again, practice. Practice is what is required to make average players great. Practice is what is required to make awareness and mindfulness possible in our everyday lives. Practice is what is required to achieve sobriety in A.A. or N.A. There has been a private and self-evaluation tool developed that invites us to trust ourselves. That is not so easy, since we tend to believe things about ourselves which aren’t entirely true. The tool requires honest and candid responses. It’s called The Character Quotient and measures your internal character. The character assessment follows this post, but you can begin your journey here by clicking or copying and pasting the following link: https://twighlightsofwisdom.wordpress.com/2016/10/29/the-character-quotient/
“….You know that in this world kings are tyrants, and officials lord it over the people beneath them. But among you it should be quite different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must become your slave. For even I, the Son of Man, came here not to be serviced but to serve others, and to give my life as a ransom for many.”~Matthew 20:25-28
What’s life all about? This question is still pondered over by many people. What is the meaning and purpose of life? What’s it all about? If you’ve pondered these questions seriously and performed a deep and thorough search, you most likely discovered it’s answers and its truths. Of course it’s answers lie in the promenades and hallways of philosophical thought. Life’s meaning can be found in the discovery of personal gifts, talents, and skills and, once we discover these, it’s further meaning lies in the service we provide to others with regard to our cultivated gifts and learned past experiences. Brought to one simple word, the answer to this is question is Love.
A passage from “Walden” by Henry David Thoreau on his daily early morning meditation:
“Morning is when I am awake and there is a dawn in me…..We must learn to re-awaken and keep ourselves awake, not by mechanical aids, but by an infinite expectation of the dawn, which does not forsake us in our soundest sleep. I know of no more encouraging fact than the unquestionable ability of man to elevate his life by conscious endeavor. It is something to be able to paint a particular picture, or to carve a statue, and so to make a few objects beautiful, but it is far more glorious to carve and paint the very atmosphere and medium through which we look…..To affect the quality of the day, that is the highest of arts.”
If you are still struggling with a problem in your life, you must seek change. Because nothing changes, if everything stays the same. Up to this point, you can begin by asking yourself these following questions, “Have my actions been to the benefit or detriment of my being? Have I acted with conscious awareness in mindfulness with regard to the repercussions my acts have on other people and the community around me? If it hasn’t then you might want to re-evaluate your thinking and current lifestyle. It is for this very reason we have statues that protect the public from the gross indifference some people seem to posses with regard to the value and betterment of human life. We want an end to terrorism. But if we want an end to terrorism don’t we have to eliminate the very seeds within us that cause us the pain and suffering? We have the power of choice. We can choose how we will respond, if we will take beneficial action or follow the malevolent destiny with which we seem to have become glued. But it all starts first by right action.
Thoreau believed so much in daily meditative practice that he made a conscious concentrated effort to “elevate his life by conscious endeavor” daily. We all have that power. We all can tap into the flow of positive energy. All we need are two things; the willingness to change and a commitment to that very goal.
All of us are apprenticed to the same teacher that the religious institutions originally worked with: reality. Reality-insight says…..master the twenty-four hours. Do it well, without self-pity. It is as hard to get the children herded into the car pool and down the road to the bus as it is to chant sutras in the Buddha-hall on a cold morning. One move is not better than the other, each can be quite boring, and they both have the virtuous quality of repetition. Repetition and ritual and their good results come in many forms. Changing the filter, wiping noses, going to meetings, picking up around the house, washing dishes, checking the dipstick – don’t let yourself think these are distracting you from your more serious pursuits. Such a round of chores is not a set of difficulties we hope to escape from so that we may do our “practice” which will put us on a “path” – it is our path.
I wanted to compose a brief essay on Faith, Love and Charity today because I know first hand, as I know many of you do also, what it‘s like to be tore down by someone who is not cultivating the happiness of heaven in their life. We must remind ourselves, that when we are torn down by non-believers in faith and spirituality, we need to turn to the inspiration of the bible to keep our hearts aloft and to keep our minds set straight through the godly wisdom that has been set forth in the Bible.
Often times people will perceive the spiritually religious as weak or slothful people, as lacking strength and courage. This, however, is the exact opposite of what it means to be faithful in the heavenly wisdom of God. Take for example, Isaiah’s words:
“You will hear my words, But you will not understand; You will see what I do, But you will not perceive its meaning. For the hearts of these people are hardened, And their ears cannot hear, And they have closed their eyes – So their eyes cannot see, And their ears cannot hear, And their hearts cannot understand, And they cannot turn to me And let me heal them. ~The Book of Isaiah
So don’t be fooled, the devil works in cunning ways. Crafty and surreptitiously he does his work to mislead the faithful When we see a person who might be struggling in their day, with their faith, or with whatever issues they have placed before them, we need to remember to be kind. For it is the strength of the spirit that allows one to rise above the indiscretions of another and act with true loving kindness and forgiveness. God is loving kindness in action. Thus, we become a god when we let him use us as one of his disciples. Consider the Gospel of Matthew 13:16-23
“But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear. I assure you, many prophets and godly people have longed to see and hear what you have seen and heard, but they could not. Now here is the explanation of the story I told about the farmer sowing grain:
The seed that fell on the hard path represents those who hear the Good News about the Kingdom and don’t understand it. Then the evil one comes and snatches the seed away from their hearts. The rocky soil represents those who hear the message and receive it with joy. But like young plants in such soil, their roots don’t go very deep. At first they get along fine, but they wilt as soon as they have problems or are persecuted because they believe the word. The thorny ground represents those who hear and accept the Good News, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the cares of this life and the lure of wealth, so no crop is produced. The good soil represents the hearts of those who truly accept God’s message and produce a huge harvest – thirty, sixty, or even hundred times as such as had been planted.”
This doesn’t mean we should allow those still practicing evil a place at our table in our house. It means we need to practice recognizing those still practicing evil and understand how we may extend help, but not fall victim to it. It doesn’t mean accepting them into your intimate relationship if they are blatantly unable to extend social expectations without violating social norms. It means we approach them with loving kindness and care, albeit cautiously. And remember…….
“We cultivate the happiness of heaven in our daily lives by right action. Thus we begin in right and wrong by honoring our conscience. Thus we begin by honoring one another through God. Keep honoring yourself and one another in godly faith.”
When I was a young girl I longed for the maturity and grace of age and, in fact, felt intimidated by it. I wanted to be older and smarter like the grown people around me. Now as an older woman I find myself possessing those very qualities and when confronted with the bounty of youth feel intimidated by those very former qualities I used to possess. What life has taught me and what I find a challenge to confront as a woman is that the human soul cannot possess and contain at every moment of its existence the full breadth of its majesty. It simply cannot at every turn fully display and express its complete and total magnitude. For if that were so, we truly would be as God himself.
Instead we travel our life’s journey towards its end only to discover the true god that lies within each of us. The god that establishes Justice, the god that cultivates Love, Understanding, Tolerance, Empathy, Charity, Self-Discipline, Peace, and the various other virtues and values possessed by man, and the challenge that’s placed before each one of us is to astutely recognize and be aware when we are to express and extended those cultivated gifts and when we are to with hold them.
This entry is about insight. It’s about knowing when to spend your time on a person, a project, or yourself in a constructive way and knowing the difference between when that endeavor has become futile. It is a quality seen in great leadership and to lack it establishes a person’s Insanity. Because repeating the same method of approach, over and over again with the same results IS CRAZY! In our lives we come to Points of Decision where we must Re-evaluate, Re-assess, and Re-define.
When I was a young girl feeling intimated by the qualities of grace, maturity, and wisdom found in those older females, I might of told myself in a whispering voice “Seek those qualities, discover their secrets.” Maybe that is why a guiding hand gently steered me towards religious study where I may find them. Religion is Mother Philosophy; Mother of Virtue; and Mother of Wisdom.
When we think of terrorism we most likely think of masked Muslim extremists touting machine guns, but terrorism comes in many forms in fact, most of the violent crimes in our penal code can be considered acts of terrorism. Domestic violence, husbands battering their wives, the use of intimidation (even subtly) to instill fear in another in intimate relationships, in your neighborhood or work place, sexual assault, robbery, any act that incorporates violence, intimidation and the use of an abuse of power.
Throughout history man has been plagued with periodic uprising of mass delusion. This is what happened during the Salem witch trials, what happened during the Protestant and Catholic division of Ireland, it is what happened during the Nazi regime of WWII, and it is what happened during the McCarthy era. Terrorism are tactics employed by not only the sophisticated psychopath, but also the common grade sociopath. They are used to instill unfounded fear and panic in individual or group targets. During the Salem witch trials the targets were mostly older, single or widowed women. During the WWII it was the different groups of Jews. During the McCarthy era it was the Communists. These delusions are often unfounded and misguided by fear of the other group.
“A society does not simply discover its others, it fabricates them, by selecting isolating, and emphasizing an aspect of another people’s life, and making it symbolize their difference.”
In ancient times, during the Jewish war, the most influential and long lasting religious impact came from the mass delusion against the early Christians who became known as the Gnostics. A man, named Jesus Christ, who by all intense purposes was poor, who couldn’t write, lacked status and who lived among the lower social classes, but was yet gifted with the ability of insight and intellectual thought. He created a movement and a following that we still see today. In all of antiquity there has never been a man who had so much influence and left no primary source documents written in his own hand. Everything we know about Christ comes from secondary sources documents written by someone else who observed him, listened, and wrote their observations down. In his bold statements against Roman and Jewish leadership he was accused of sedition, a rebel rousing prophet who claimed kingship over the Jews. A statement which threatened the balance of Jewish and Roman existence. Fear took root in the hearts of the Jewish leaders and the Roman leaders were forced to take action. The demonic influence that took hold of the Jewish and Roman people has been characterized throughout history as Satan.
“The figure of Satan becomes, among other things, a way of characterizing one’s actual enemies as the embodiment of transcendent forces. For many readers of the gospels ever since the first century, the thematic opposition between God’s spirit and Satan has vindicated Jesus’ followers and demonized their enemies.”
It appears then, that Satan is associated with the emotional feeling of fear. When fear takes hold of us, it can create a person’s malevolent destiny. This malevolent destiny of fear has ended the lives of far too many good people through something called the repetition behavior. The direct opposite of the malevolent destiny of the repetition compulsion is Love.
“I define love thus: The will to extend one’s self for the purpose of nurturing one’s own or another’s spiritual growth.”
“Third, this unitary definition of love includes self-love with love for the other. Since I am human and you are human, to love humans means to love myself as well as you. To be dedicated to human spiritual development is to be dedicated to the race of which we are a part, and this therefore means dedication to our own development as well as “theirs.”
It is my belief that on this journey of our individual lives it becomes necessary and prudent to cultivate and nurture the core values of leadership in the form of virtues.
“It is clear that exercise power with love requires a great deal of work, but what is this about the risk involved? The problem is that the more loving one is, the more humble one is; yet the more humble one is, the more one is awed by the potential for arrogance in exercising power. Who am I to influence the course of human events? By what authority am I entitled to decide what is best for my child, spouse, my country or the human race? Who gives one the right to dare to believe in my own understanding and then to presume to exert my will upon the world? Who am I to play God? That is the risk. For whenever we exercise power we are attempting to influence the course of the world, of humanity and we are thereby playing God. Most parents, teachers, leaders – most of us who exercise power – have no cognizance of this. In the arrogance of exercising power without the total self-awareness demanded by love, we are blissfully but destructively ignorant of the fact that we are playing God. Bu those who truly love, and therefore work for the wisdom that love requires, know that to act is to play God. Yet they also know that there is no alternative except inaction and impotence. Love compels us to play God with full consciousness of the enormity of that fact that that is just what we are doing. With this consciousness the loving person assumes the responsibility of attempting to be God and not to carelessly play God, to fulfill God’s will without mistake. We arrive then, at yet another paradox: only out of the humility of love can humans dare to be God.”
Love liberates us from the roots of fear and allows us to move about the world freely and unencumbered by anything or anyone. Through it we exercise Courage in our ever day dealings. Spiritual practices that keep us mindful of our self-love and the love we extend to others must be practiced continually. Daily practices in our awareness help to keep us vigilant and dutiful of pitfalls. It is the reason why many people return to their churches routinely in spite of not having proof of God’s existence. It is also the reason why God and various religions have endured through out the ages. It gives people a sense of community and membership while cultivating the spiritual gifts that can save them from malevolent destiny and the repetition compulsion. It, in short, brings them peace of mind, happiness, and Love.
First two quotations by Elaine Pagels, Origins of Satan
Third, Fourth and Fifth quotations by M. Scott Peck, M.D., The Road Less Traveled
For the first time I think I’ve come to understand what Freud meant when he said all human action is driven by the sex drive. Primitive responses that are mostly left to the unconscious mind and lost in the Id are the roots of primal aggressive rage that we experience from those first moments we are pulled from the womb. It’s the transitional phase of development. Although we do not understand and so do not fully know what types of memories are created in the womb, we do know that the primitive primal aggressive rage in infancy has long standing effects to the human psychic mind.
Being at the crossroads of life, stuck between still possessing partially my procreative power and losing it, My uterus and breasts are as powerful as any erect penis. Yet it seems contrary to the cycle that to face a barren existence only brings me full closure. It’s a coming to terms with what has been lost. A woman never fully loses her procreative power just like a nation who has been beaten by terrorists. The terrorists will never win in seeking dominion over those integral parts that make a nation a nation or a person a person. On the contrary, that light still endures and can never be extinguished even when the rhythm has been disrupted by some unknown force. The light that drives that power still burns on.
I am a woman fully in my own existence and as such a woman of this mind set never losses that creative love that makes her woman! Just like America will never loss that creative love that makes her American. The pleasure of nurturing the wounded will never leave her. Never! Never will her God given right to rule and to posses the caring attitude of love and marked attentive sentiments that come with the Divinity of Republic. American womanhood still remains even after the rhythm may have been momentarily disrupted. Lady Liberty still endures. It’s a biological program that is hard to erase, the need to survive and once discovered it remains, not unlike the blood-lust of our adversaries who psychopathically killed out of a driven need to satisfy their primitive primal aggressive rage, systematically annihilating our brothers and sisters, our countrymen and to conquer and destroy. Women, much like America are the World’s saviors. We give of ourselves more than any other. We heal the sick, cure the injured and promote peace and goodwill. Our biological clocks are in sync and it is synchronicity that keeps our righteous rhythm flowing with the music of nature.
Synchronicity is defined as the coincidence that is felt to be significant or meaningful especially in the philosophy of C.G. Jung the simultaneous occurrence of two or more events that seem to be linked in a meaningful way or significant way without apparently being casually related as, for example the sudden stopping of a clock at the moment of a person’s death in the same vicinity.
When people seek to destroy a person’s synchronicity they become immediate adversaries of the state. NO, in fact the World! This is precisely what Hitler did to the Jewish community. He systematically disrupted their individual lives to prove White Supremacy. Individuals such as these are the enemies of the Sate and of humanity. They are the enemy of peoples. They are the evil that corrupts. This is precisely what some are doing today when they attempt to take away another’s synchronicity through electronic means. Electo-Magnetic Frequency. Radio Waves. This technology is as evil as Egas’s lobotomy. I believe they are trying to attempt to prove through electronic means that “God” is dead! But he isn’t dead. God is a spirit, a feeling, a sentiment. God is the joy we feel when we see our child’s face for the first time. God is the love we feel when we unit together for a common cause. God is the faith that helps us through our struggles. He is the knowledge that anything is possible with an open heart, good will and Faith. So, God is not dead.
When a person has been granted the gift of psychic premonition and are empathic, they are gifts to be cultivated and given to the world. These are spiritual gifts given to the spiritual beings. But their are individuals who see these gifts as a threat and seek to persecute with the pain and suffering of scientific means through EMF torture. It is my opinion that these individuals are the evil from within. They are the evil that corrupts and systematically destroys out of the insecure faith they have within themselves. They are every insidious bastard that has ever tried to come along and destroy Faith, Hope, and Love in its tracks. I know they have disrupted my balance and they have attempted to take away my gifts.
I believe the people who are at fault are in true reasoning ability of their faculties. If they claim, “I didn’t know.” Well, it is my opinion they are liars! This is exactly what I’d expect from someone who is of psychopathic mind. To lie with true convection of their perceived innocence. They are the evil of the worst kind. They are the antithetical groups that seek to destroy peace and prosperity. They are the blackness of tar! If anyone should have suffered through the gas chambers of the Nazi concentration camps, it should be them. For they no not Love or Virtue. They took many people’s belief away in their God which effected many generations to come. And that is the insidious evil that destroys the very way of prosperous Life!
